The Hunt for Great Texas Brisket - 2008

The ABSOLUTE BIGGEST BBQ DIVE in Texas… I’m telling ya, what an eye-opener for the 1st stop of the day (not counting the clean Mikeska’s breakfast spot back in Cameron).
Met Vince himself and had a terrific brisket to start off the day. This set the tone for the day and even for the trip. Despite the look of the beef, the taste was wonderful, left a great aftertaste in the mouth for 5-10 minutes and the fat was so enjoyable that I’m considering trying to do something like that at The Q.

Vince isn’t allowed to do sausage anymore, after the famous rat incident years ago. This sausage wasn’t worth it.
