Famous for sausage, but brisket STUNK!!! P.U.

The sign said 2,000,000 pounds of sausage sold per year (thats what Cyndi told me, I didn’t see it). My brother says the sausage has crushed ice mixed into the casing and that helps moisturize it and makes it plump.

Sausage was great. Ribs & Babys were great - tender like ours but just different due to the plain salt/pepper rub.

We forgot to order “lean” brisket, so you see how greasy and fatty ours was. I went back up to the cashier (to avoid the line) and paid for another 1/2 lb of lean. The inconsistency of the slice thickness helped ruin our serving. I don’t know if it was cause they had to rush my order or if this is normal, but besides it being just too dry to begin with, the over-thick slices were just not edible.
