Uhhh… nasty brisket, not so good beans. Easy to miss.
On a nationwide culinary forum I read, I’m surprised how many people had talked good about Smittys. The mexicans gave me such crappy slices of brisket, that it kinda taints our review. They didn’t care, and it goes to show how important the WHOLE operation is… down to the lowly meat cutter. Cause she didn’t care and I really didn’t either - we were short on time and didn’t want to make an issue with mgmt. You can ZOOM IN on the photos and see what that brisket was like.
